A mild drama ensued at the 2015 edition of the Miss Universe beauty pageant after a wrong winner was announced and crowned.

Veteran actor and TV host Steve Harvey, who hosted the pageant, announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo as the winner and she was already crowned by the outgoing queen, Paulina Vega until Steve Harvey rushed back on stage to state that there was a mistake in the announcement.

  In what can be described as an embarrassing moment, the tiara was immediately removed from Miss Colombia by Miss Universe 2014 and Pia got crowned.

 Steve Harvey also took to Twitter later to restate his apologies while saying that it was a honest human error.... 


Indeed it was a sad moment for all involved and it was clear that Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines had difficulty understanding what had happened. Both needed interpreters to fully understand the situation, which created a very awkward few minutes on the stage. Harvey took control and showed the cameras the actual winners that were written, proving he did make a mistake. 
He also stated that he takes full responsibility for the error. He’s human and we all make mistakes.

Nollywood Actor Femi Branch Charged To Court For Issuing A Dud Cheque Of N1.5m

Famous Nollywood actor, Femi Branch was recently charged to the Ikeja Magistrate court for reportedly issuing a dud cheque to De Santo Hotel in Ikeja.

The dud cheque was for N1.5m.

A source reportedly close to the story said the famous Yoruba actor stayed in the hotel for months and issued a dud cheque.

When this happened the management of De Santo Hotel went to the police and lodged a complaint.

The actor was arrested and charged to Ikeja magistrate court 1 on the 20 of November, 2015.

He was granted a bail of N500,000 due to self-recognition.

In the court ruling, Femi Branch was remanded in Kirikiri Prison until he could fulfill his bail condition.

According to reports it took some weeks for the actor to meet his bail condition.

After he was bailed, Femi Branch hosted the Best of Nollywood award in Ondo state.

His case has been adjourned to January 6, 2016.

Yesterday (December 20) Special Ed revealed he has just bought a Mercedes Benz GL 450 reportedly worth N25m.

Famous Yoruba Actor, Odunlade Adekola Set To Release His Music Album

Famous for his many roles in Yoruba movies, the actor seems to be testing new waters

Odunlade Adekola is ready to drop his musical debut album.

He announced his new venture on his Instagram account yesterday (December 10).

The title of the album is ‘Mori’re’, and it contains all the movie soundtracks he has sung so far in his film career.

Banks.

‘Katapot’ singer…
1. His real name is Ayoleyi Hananiel Solomon.
2. He was born on December 6, 1993 in Lagos. He is the last
born in a family of six kids.
3. His father is a pastor while his mum is a caterer who also
devouts time to the church.
4. He grew up in Ikorodu, an outskirt of Lagos.
5. He completed Secondary school in 2008 at the age of 14.
6. His elder sister is a gospel singer.
7. He also has an elder brother, Temi who a producer. The
brother introduced him to music and is instrumental to
Reekado’s later signing unto Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
8. Before joining Mavin, Reekado was known as Spicy.
9. He initially started out by writing rap songs before Temi
encouraged him to focus more on singing which was his
strong side.
0. His stage name Reekado Banks was inspired by the Spanish
name ‘Ricardo’ which means ‘Ruler of Kings’ while the
‘Banks’ according to the singer ‘literally means that I’m rich
in musical content’.
1. Without Reekado’s knowledge, his elder brother entered
