Nollywood actor turn politician, Desmond Olusola Elliot said during an interview he had recently that he won’t be appearing in any movie neither will he produce any for the next four years, the duration of his tenure in office as a Lagos state lawmaker.

“There is nothing acting in all I do now, it’s the job as a legislator and doing work to ensure that there is a better structure in the industry,’ Desmond disclosed. He however further revealed that he is still a part of the industry and will continue to support it.

When Desmind was asked how he intends to use his new office to impact Nollywood,
“just wait and see’. He however further revealed that he is still a part of the industry and will continue to support it,” Hon. Elliot replied.

Davido and Wizkid in Twitter war

It looks like the cold war between Davido and Wizkid has resumed in the past few weeks judging by the weird social media tantrums between the two.

Davido has pushed back his album more than 10 times within a year and failed to deliver. Entertainment commentators say the reason Davido continues pushing back is because he doesn’t want to release an album during a Wizkid-season. He’s however blessed fans with 2 songs in two months, Dodo and The Money. Shortly after the release of The Money, Wizkid released a single Baba Nla (Final) which didn’t go well with Davido. Naturally, the two of them don’t release songs around the same time.

A day after Baba Nla dropped, Davido claimed he was robbed in South Africa with no evidence to prove. He didn’t lose his watch, his HKN chain, there was no proof of robbery even in South African media, he claimed his manager was robbed off a $50,000(???) wristwatch… Now most people think Davidofalsified the robbery event to take attention back from Wizkid following his new release.

Stage Names: P-Square
Date of Birth: November 18th, 1981
State of Birth: Jos,Plateau State.
State of Origin: Ifite Dunu, Anambra State, Eastern Nigeria.

Nigerian Hip hop musician, Peter and Paul Okoye needs no introduction in the Nigerian music industry.

The duo of hip hop artist became a household name with the release of Get squared album in 2005, which
was released under their own music record label, Square records. Prior before then they released their
first Music Album as an artist under Timbuk2 Music Label, titled “Last Nite”
P Square, otherwise refer to as Peter and Paul Okoye are identical twins whose passion for music started when they were still teenagers at Saint Murumba Secondary school, a Catholic church own missionary school in Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria. Before finally
settling with the stage name, P-square, they have at sometimes used several stage names, such as P&P, Double P and Da pees.

the music duo later in 1997 while still at school, formed an acapella group called “MMMPP” alongside M clef (Itemoh), Melvin, Michael, Peter and Paul.

The Musicians later formed a dance group called smooth criminal in the same year, 1997.

Peter and Paul Okoye, P-square, In 1999 applied and gained admission into the University of Abuja to study Business, which led to members of the group
going their separate ways.

P-square music duo in 2003 kick starts their professional music career, with the release of their debut album “Last nite” which received Kora awards
nomination for most promising musical artist and in the same year they won their first professional recognition at the Amen Award as “Best R & B
group”, they are managed and promoted by Howie T. Chief executive officer of Adrot Nigeria Limited.

In 2005, the duo released their second studio album, “Get squared”, a compilation that fully launched them into the Nigerian music industry and sets the foundation for the current popularity they enjoy. The 2005 released album was trending all over radio and television stations across Nigeria, Africa and even South Africa where they enjoy large followers and
fans. The hit track after which the album was named after was a club banging hit, with a master piece
